In this sophisticated age of technology, the manner in which we deliver services to residents is taking on new dimensions. If you are interested in sharing information and insights regarding how to work with technological advances or have expertise in other aspects of Assisted Living, CALA wants to hear from you!

CALA conferences highlight cutting-edge issues in Assisted Living, such as:

  • Service delivery and management

  • Program development

  • Marketing and public relations

  • Public policy

  • Technology and business trends

CALA welcomes innovative, thought-provoking submissions that provide effective strategies and excellent take home value to our members.

 
 

Your Proposal Must Include:

1. A typewritten abstract for a 1.5 hour presentation (including time for Q & A);
2. Session objectives, to include the three most important things the audience will learn;
3. A description of how the session concepts are unique and/or innovative;
4. Previous presentation experience;
5. One paragraph biography and a separate resume or CV for each speaker.

Presenter Agreement:    
I understand that I am responsible for all travel-related conference expenses, special event costs, meals, hotel and registration fees. Presenters may attend other sessions and meals on the day of their own presentation at no charge. Presenters may attend additional days for the discounted rate of $100 a day. CALA reserves the right to combine proposed topics and presenters.

I understand that CALA is unable to provide LCD projectors for presenter’s use.

I understand that all sessions must be available for tape recording and hereby authorize CALA to do so. I will inform CALA within 60 days of my presentation if for any reason my session/presentation will not be given. I understand promoting a company, service or product during the session is prohibited.

I understand that handouts are required and it is the presenters’ responsibility to provide materials to CALA by September 23, 2008. After this date, the cost of handout reproduction is at the expense of the presenter. In this case, I understand that I will be required to print and bring to the conference 100 copies of handouts. (150 copies for intensive sessions.)
