With almost one-third of lawmakers new to the state Capitol and the increasing visibility of senior living, it’s more important than ever that we build relationships and share our position on legislation that affects providers and residents. Participate in Advocacy Day and make a difference by:

  • meeting with legislators at the new Capitol “Swing Space”
  • discussing key legislative proposals and California’s unique political dynamics
  • learning about Argentum’s federal advocacy efforts
  • celebrating CALA member advocates and legislative champions who have made a positive impact.

    Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be submitted in writing to Katherine@CAassistedliving.org. Cancellations received by 5:00 p.m. 11 business days before the event will receive a refund, less a $25 administrative charge. Cancellations received 6-10 business days before the event are not refundable (regardless of registration date), but credit will be given for future CALA educational events, to be used within the next year. No refunds or credits will be given for cancellations received thereafter. Substitutions may not be possible due to legislative visit logistics, please email Maddie@caassistedliving.org to inquire. No-shows are responsible for payment, and not eligible for refund or credit.

    Video/Image Permissions: As a registered participant, you give permission to be photographed and/or audio or videotaped during the event and agree that all such materials, including Zoom screenshots, may be used in any related promotional materials, literature, articles, or otherwise without additional permission or release.
