You’ll learn about CALA’s legislative priorities and how proposed legislation impacts Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Continuing Care Retirement Communities. Advocacy Day is an opportunity to:

  • Learn how CALA’s legislative priorities impact providers and residents
  • Foster relationships with legislators and legislative staff in the California Legislature
  • Advocate for your residents and staff, this model of care, and CALA’s priority legislation

During Advocacy Day, attendees will hear from CALA’s policy team and lobbyists about bills impacting CALA members and be fully prepared to participate in Zoom meetings with legislators to deliver our advocacy message on newly introduced bills.

The legislative briefing is open to all CALA members; provider members will be scheduled for virtual legislative meetings.
