Day in Your District

For CALA Provider Members Only.

CALA’s Day in Your District gives members the opportunity to meet with one of their legislative district offices. This is a great event for those who cannot travel to Sacramento for CALA’s Advocacy Day, as district offices are usually within driving distance. This event is an opportunity to:

• Educate legislators and staffers about your community’s model of care
• Cultivate relationships at the local level
• Promote yourself as a constituent who is an expert in aging issues
• Invite your legislator or staffer to visit your community

Each member who registers will meet with one district office during Day in Your District. CALA organizes the meetings, briefs participants on talking points, and provides details for the day. This event is free of charge.
